Amazing....

Traveled as a couple and we are just back from staying 2 weeks in September at Promtsuk Buri... we miss it already!
We were looking for a place where we could relax and enjoy the tropical nature and weather of Samui while being close to the other attractions. As soon as we arrived at Promtsuk Buri we knew we had made the right choice.
This is the most romantic resort we have ever stayed at.
The beach is a natural beach, really beautiful sand and broken shell, well kept. The staff sweeps the beach every day and I never saw any rubbish at all. In the water, there are corals (be careful) and lots of little fish which makes it good for snorkling, although visibility can be limited depending on the weather.
There are several massage services right on the beach which is a very nice experience. Also, no beach vendors at all, like in Lamai or Chaweng beach. Beaches are public in Thailand but this one really feels private and safe.
The rooms are finished to a high standard and are cleaned daily, including fresh sheets and towels. We stayed in one of the Seaview Bungalows with the open bathrooms and loved it.
The tropical gardens enveloping all the bungalows are really well kept by the owners themselves and give the whole place a feel of paradise.
The staff are really kind, friendly and attentive, they always do their best to fulfill all your requests. Our special thanks to Lek who is truully a really nice guy, and Yu who's smile and hospitality can brighten up even a cloudy morning.
The food in the restaurant is definately some of the best asian food we have ever tried. The restaurant closes in the evenings but the food at the Thongtakian resort next door is equally amazing. We tried other restaurants in Samui and were not disapointed; but ended up coming back to the ones in the resort because the food was just that extra bit nicer.
Lamai and Chaweng are only a short ride from the resort(5-10 minutes). We really liked this because we could go out in Lamai and then come back to the peaceful and romantic setting of Promtsuk Buri. There are always taxis available and you can also rent a good motorbike from reception, hassle free.

In all, this is the perfect resort for those looking for relaxation, a romantic stay or a good time with the family. Is beautiful, clean, safe and the staff are wonderful. We fully recomend it and hope to be back soon.

Best resort ever...
My family and I (my wife and kids aged 2 and 4) spent 34 nights at Promtsukburi from january 5th until february 8th. We would like to thank the staff at the resort for a memorable and fantastic stay. The place was perfect. It's secluded without being far from everything - very close to both Lamai and Chaweng. The beach is exceptional. Not very wide and with very calm water. Perfect for people with children. We originally wanted to visit koh Tao and other places while in Thailand, but ended up staying at this resort for the entire time.
The service at this resort is in a league of it's own. Every request was met with a smile.
We would definately come back.

NB: If you want to party - this is not the place for you.
